Dr. Al Mnaï explained that Errachidia has natural spaces capable of attracting people seeking treatment and relaxation from both within Morocco and abroad, especially at a time when health tourism is gaining global momentum as a promising sector that combines Treatment and economic development. He also highlighted that the southeastern regions of the Kingdom, including Merzouga and the nearby oases, are drawing growing attention for their therapeutic potential linked to hot sands and a healthy climate suited to a range of conditions affecting the joints, bones, and respiratory system.
The international expert noted that making the most of these assets requires coordinated action from all stakeholders, including public institutions, investors, and civil society, in order to develop the infrastructure and services related to wellness tourism and promote Errachidia as a health destination that blends treatment, natural beauty, and rich local heritage.
